CPAND supports students studying nutrition and dietetics and practitioners looking to advance their knowledge base. Scholarships are awarded each year to be used towards these nutrition and dietetics related education expenses. CPAND Scholarship- Practitioners:
The Central Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (CPAND) would like to support practitioners working towards an advanced degree, certification, or attendance of a professional continuing education program that promotes the advancement of nutrition and dietetics. Once scholarship of $750 will be awarded to be used towards these nutrition and dietetics related education expenses. The recipients will be determined based on the applicant’s contributions to the field and future career goals. A selection committee composed of CPAND members will evaluate each complete application and determine scholarship recipients. All applicants must be members of AND and CPAND for the current year. Eligibility is limited to those who have not previously received this scholarship. Applicants who plan to use the scholarship towards an advanced degree must currently be enrolled in the advanced degree program. Awards will be presented at the spring membership meeting.
Upon receiving the scholarship:
Submit an article for the CPAND website. This can be based on a summary from attendance at a professional meeting. If scholarship is used towards continuing education or certification, submit an article on a current nutrition topic.

A selection committee composed of CPAND members will evaluate each completed application and determine scholarship recipients. All student or intern applicants must be currently enrolled in an CDR-accredited supervised practice program or in an advanced degree program that promotes the advancement of dietetics. Applicants must be members of AND and CPAND for the current year. Eligibility is limited to those who have not previously received this scholarship. Awards presented at the spring membership meeting.

Submit an article for the CPAND website. This can be based on research summary, graduate studies, or a current nutrition topic.
